Shopping Malls

Barcelona has a wealth of shopping malls perfect for clothing, souvenirs and essential purchases. They are also great to visit if you want to grab a bite to eat, catch a film or even see some local entertainment. Our top three will cater for all budgets.

Diagonal Mar

The Diagonal Mar shopping mall is one of the biggest malls in the city with great transport links and free parking. The mall hosts many cheap family favourite stores such as Primark and H & M. If you are visiting the mall to have lunch or dinner there are many inexpensive restaurants to choose from such as Subway and Burger King. You can also find many coffee outlets that offer sandwiches, cakes and light bites. As well as shopping the mall has an 18 screen cinema with tickets starting at €5,70.

Pedralbes Centre

For a more upmarket shopping experience the Pedralbes Centre is not far from the Diagonal Mar. The stores specialise in fashion, jewellery, homewares, shoes and accessories. You can visit stores such as Elena Miro for designer Italian women’s wear. There are a number of fabulous jewellery stores at the higher end of the market such as Liali Dubai which stocks high class diamonds, wedding and engagement rings and necklaces. There are some excellent places to eat with a range of cuisines too. Mu Buffet has some good staple dishes for a low price of €9,60 and is highly recommended.

Maremagnum

The Maremagnum is a very trendy shopping mall that also hosts many arts and film events throughout the year. The fashion stores offer good quality brands such as Lacoste as well as independent and quirky labels. There is some good Spanish cuisine to be had at restaurants like Tapa Tapa and ELX Restaurant makes this mall worth a visit too if you are looking for a spot of lunch.
