#1 Cerveceria Jazz

Described as a “meat lover’s dream”, the burger at Cerverceria Jazz is meaty, cooked to order, and served with a wide variety of off-kilter condiments, including apple sauce, chili con carne, and green Dijon mustard. Rather than the standard bun, Cerveceria Jazz uses a crunchy Vienna roll, which doesn’t get soggy. There is also a wide selection of imported beers on offer.

#2 Bacoa Burger

Great burgers cooked to order. The staff literally pats the meat into patties while you stand there. They also offer chicken and fish burgers and sandwiches as well. The shop itself is quite small and can get crowded, so be prepared to wait. The sesame rolls are made fresh and prices range from 4.5 Euro to 6 Euro.

#3 Hard Rock Café Barcelona

Almost a guilty pleasure, the burger’s at Hard Rock Café Barcelona were consistently well reviewed, even if everyone admitted to a fondness for them in semi-hushed tones. A true “American” style burger, the burgers here are 10 ounces, and come on a white sesame bun with pickles, cheese, bacon, tomato, lettuce, and a side of fries. Prices begin at 13.95 Euro.
