Where to drink

With wine being a national export, you can bet that you can get your groove one with a pauper’s purse in Barcelona.
1. Harlem Jazz Club (free!)
Definitely a best-kept-secret, this swanky little jazz club packs ‘em in for captivating jazz sessions every night of the week.
Get there early because as soon as the music starts it’s elbow-to-elbow standing room only. Once a spot is obtained however, it’s worth every square inch of it. Drinks are reasonably priced, with the best deal being a half-bottle of wine at 8 euro, not only for the price but for the convenience of having a reserve once you’ve made it to the front of the crowd.
Located on a side street in the heart of the Gothic Quarter, the best way to arrive is starting from the Plaza Jaume I. Walking down Carrer de la Ciutat, you’ll take a right at the third street on the right, Comtessa de Sobradiel, you’ll find it inconspicuously on your left, behind a set of doors plastered in posters fighting for the spotlight.
Price Examples:
Beer 3.5 euro
Glass of wine 3 euro
Half bottle of wine 8 euro
Where:
Comtessa de Sobradiel 8, Gothic Quarter
Metro line 3, Liceu stop

Hi Celine,
Try the nitty gritty Raval-area for some touristy bars with happy hour offers. Metro: Liceu (L3).
